Hope, 2018, 18"X20" (Sold)

Waiting For Hope is one of my favorite pieces as it brings out the beauty of the ‘other’ story. On the surface it shows a young boy who appears to be from a humble background, sitting with a piercing look of despair in his eyes. However, in this story, he also imagines how great he will be if he continues to push and persevere in order to influence his circumstances. He has transported himself into an imaginary world filled with happiness, laughter, and love. In my uncanny way of bringing out emotions through my paintings, this piece will transform a room or space and inspire the viewer to look beyond the present to hope in new possibilities.
